Facebook and Instagram e-shop

Before you begin: ​

Facebook: ​

  •  If you don't have a Facebook business Page yet, you can create both when you set up your shop.​

  •  If you already have a Page that you want to use for your shop: If you manage your Page in a Meta Business Manager account, you must be an admin on the account. Make sure that you also have Manage permissions for both the Page. ​

Instagram:​

  •  If you want to make your shop visible on Instagram, you'll also need an Instagram business account. Your Business Manager must own the Instagram business account that it's connected to. Note: If you only want to sell using a shop on Instagram, you don't need to create or provide a Facebook business Page when creating your shop in Commerce Manager.​

Marketplace is a destination on Facebook where people can discover, buy and sell items. People can browse listings, search for items for sale in their area or find products available for shipping.​

  • Instagram Shop offers a way for businesses to showcase their product catalogue and reach new customers on Instagram.​

  • Brands can curate a list of shoppable products that are directly accessible through the “View Shop” button on their Instagram profile page.​

  • Instagram Shop tab — a shopping destination accessible from Instagram’s main navigation menu.​

  • Instagram Shop is a streamlined way for users to discover shoppable products on Instagram, with the option to search by categories, see "Editors' Picks," and more.​

  • By clicking on a suggested product, users can see more images that feature the product, pricing information, other products from the same retailer, and how to purchase.​
